gawrshdarnit. i came and sat down at the computer with my cup of milky tea, and the last third of a bar of chocolate, and all of a sudden there is not very much chocolate left at all.
my most favourite chocolate bar at the moment is the dagoba roseberry bar: dark chocolate with raspberries and rosehips. mmmmm. the cacao content is just about perfect at 59%, and there are little crunchy red bits all the way through. it is only a slim little specimen — 56.7g — divided into elegant little fingers, and i had the best intentions of just having one finger and making the other two fingers last until saturday, when i’ll be able to go out and get me a whole new bar, but the chocolate has gotten the best of me, and i am now half a finger away from no chocolate at all.
note to self: stop eating the chocolate!

i remember now the brand i was talking about, the one i like better than dagoba, the one in the fancy packaging where it is wrapped in paper AND plastic, and it is dolfin. and i see on their site that they say (they are belgian) they are “un ami du gout”–a friend of taste. that’s just NICE.

saffron, you availed yourself of dolfin on saturday. how was the ceylonese cinnamon?
oh my! I’ve only had one piece so far because well I have eaten too much in a 48 hour period to have chocolate also.
Tonight is the night I shall eat the rest. The cinnamon was quite nice. But I really must try the lavender chocolate next time 🙂
have you finished your roseberry yet?
actually i haven’t even begun. in fact the last bit of the original bar is still on my desk as well, because i too have eaten too much in the last couple of days, as you would have read.
