i thought there would be an even bigger splurge of chocolate after the rocket pesto, and then you redeemed yourself (very well i might add) with theyoghurt.
have you been on one of their food tours? if they are any good i might visit this friday.
nellie! but, see, i saved $5.47. the green and black’s chocolate bar was half price.
so it might have been an even bigger chocolate splurge, deb, except of course i never would’ve bought a $10.95 chocolate bar… would i? 😉
i wonder how you feel about the yoghurt redemption now that i reveal it was not actually yoghurt, but organic italian yoghurt biscuits. but aren’t you intrigued? at least two more reasons for you to go to about life on friday. 🙂
in case y’all are interested, the cheese is a little tub of australian goat curd;
the banana breakfast is a little tub of (real) banana yoghurt topped with maple granola;
the dagoba bar is a single origin (68%) chocolate from the edge of the peruvian amazon, and promises “nuances of the bananas, papaya and orchids growing amongst the cacao”;
the edel nutri “purity” bar is from the netherlands: extra dark chocolate (73%) with green tea and lemon;
the meat is two packets of duck breast and pistachio sausages.
🙂 i was thinking of the arzum bounty too, and how i got maybe the same number of “groceries” there, but for a sixth of the monies i squandered at about life.
Whoa, go Bowb! I understand, though- buying any food at About Life easily racks up to millions of dollars. Why? Because their food is 1) delicious, and 2) expensive. A frightening combination. I once spent $7 there on a piece of toast and ONE TEENY TINY GRILLED TOMATO. Okay, so it was the best tomato I’d ever eaten, but come on, guys! Mind you, their Copacabana freezie thingies are sooooooooooo nice that I shouted myself one on my birthday!
the first time I shopped at Aboutlife, their registers stuffed up and they gave me all my groceries for free! I knew I should have spent more than $30, but it was definitely a nice start to my day, and I wasn’t complaining
