i made this!
a thing of beauty, adapted from nigella lawson’s kuchen recipe in delicious magazine. this one has grated lemon rind mixed into the bready dough, and is topped with cherries, almonds, raw sugar and mixed spice. it’s just out of the oven! i’m excited!

sounds and looks like a masterpiece!
you are a thing of beauty, my cc!
I want to eat this! Tell me, does it contain almond paste?
There’s a U.S. version of _Delicious_ now, supposedly, but from the cover it looks like it won’t have the same recipes at all.
Hint, hint.
you are all kind, and it was a very nice, homely kuchen, the kind you might take home to visit your mother.
I., there is no almond paste in the recipe (which i have emailed you) but i’m sure you could work some through it without ill effect.
Thankyouthankyou! But . . . I didn’t get it. Try again?
oh, yummmmmmmmmmmmy cherries and almonds, how can you go wrong?
I. then i’m afraid i have been trapped forever in your spam filter… i even filled out the vetting form and everything. it was (is) very “mission impossible”.
perhaps i will link to it here? then everyone can enjoy it.
mmm this does look yum! did you leave the seeds in?
Very good! The only thing I’ve baked this year is banana bread (pre cyclone)
